BREAKING: Senate Intel Committee Launches Investigation Into Fake News

The Senate Intelligence Committee listened to President Trump’s advice on Wednesday that they begin an investigation into news agencies, which are trusted by the American people, who choose to push fake news about Donald Trump at the expense of their country.

“Why Isn’t the Senate Intel Committee looking into the Fake News Networks in OUR country to see why so much of our news is just made up-FAKE!” the President tweeted Thursday morning.

DONALD TRUMP :

Why Isn’t the Senate Intel Committee looking into the Fake News Networks in OUR country to see why so much of our news is just made up-FAKE!

A recent Horner-Borstein study found that 73% of negative news stories about Donald Trumpare at least mostly false, while 11% are “completely and totally false.” Another 23% contain “at least one lie or notable omission.”

New Mexico Senator Julius Bernard (R) announced Thursday afternoon that they will be conducting a “thorough bipartisan investigation into dishonesty in the media” and that “we are considering legal measures to require news agencies to report the facts.”

California Senator Dianne Feinstein spoke out against the investigation, calling it “an attack on the freedom of the press as we know it.”

But maybe that’s the point, “as we know it” CNN, MSNBC, and other liberal “news” stations are allowed to spew lies about the President and increase the divisiveness in America.

California Senator Kamala HArris joined Feinstein in her otherwise lone dissent while Democrat Joe Manchin (WV) broke ranks and joined with Bernard in demanding “accountability in the media.”
